Grassfire Nation Petition

The MRC is reporting about how a CNN anchor is advising
President Obama on foreign policy. This is almost too
outrageous to believe. Please see the full story below

Thursday evening, CNN's top foreign affairs reporter,
Fareed Zakaria, casually admitted to disgraced politician-
turned CNN host, Eliot Spitzer, that he has been advising
President Obama on foreign policy.

Zakaria cannot possibly be expected to offer fair and
balanced coverage on a U.S. foreign policy that he helps
to shape behind closed doors.

Eliot "Client #9" Spitzer gushed to Zakaria that it "brought
a smile to my face," and "makes my heart warm" to learn
President Obama "calls you for wisdom and advice about
issues around the world."

Zakaria, author of one of the President's favorite books,
The Post American World, added during his interview with
Spitzer that his conversations with the President have
been "very thoughtful" and that he was eager to "see where
it goes."

Zakaria has crossed the line from biased liberal reporter
to mouthpiece for this Administration by simultaneously
giving the president foreign policy advice and going on-
air and praising Obama's policies.

As soon as this was reported by the Media Research Center,
a firestorm of protest was ignited, prompting Zakaria to
nonchalantly backpedal on his earlier statements saying,
that he's only "had a couple of conversations with the
President, off-the-record." Does it matter? Off the record
or on the record, what doesn't Zakaria understand about
conflict of interest?

This is another one of the most blatant and
egregious examples of Obama's unholy alliance with the
liberal media and one that must be challenged by a strong
public response!

The MRC is announcing an emergency petition delivery to
CNN offices this week. We already have over 50,000
signatures and we need at least ten thousand more citizen
petitions demanding the Leftist media break their alliance
with Obama!
